Classical Studies is the branch of the Humanities dealing with the literature, philosophy, history, and other aspects of the ancient Mediterranean world, especially ancient Greek and Rome.

PREFACE

This site contains information about Classical Studies and my personal interests. I am trying to make English pages, but, at the moment, the major part of this site is written in Japanese. If you want to know the full contents, take a look at the table of contents.

The name "Via della Gatta" is derived from a street in Rome.
